The Histronic began with one goal in mind, "to make the people dance." Formed in the music friendly city of Minneapolis in 2007, they have accomplished this goal, and taken their high energy dance party all over the Midwest, including coveted slots at festivals such as 10,000 Lakes Festival, Harvest Fest, Bella Madre, Summerdance I & II, and Fat Fest. One of the pioneers of the Minneapolis live electro scene, the band has received national attention including their debut studio album being referred to as "the best jamband album of 2008" by Jambands.com
With a unique ability to push the limits on stage, the Histronic is a full production; including "Histronivision," which incorporates a whirl wind of projectors and moving lights; setting the mood for the ultimate "tear the rug to shreds" dance party. The Histronic combines the forces of drum and sample mastermind Matthew Mantle a.k.a. Stereo Adik, keyboard guru Kevin Dorsey a.k.a West Fox and quick picking bass player Gill Finn. Their live performances ignite dance floors with energy, and makes everyone in the room want to bust a move. They've shared the stage with such industry moguls as Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, the New Mastersounds, Lotus, Bernie Worell, Umphreys McGee, Particle, EOTO, Motet Trio, Future Rock, Solid Gold, Dj Freddy Fresh and Pnuma Trio. The Histronic is building the Midwest live electro scene one dance party at a time.
